Chris White is in discussion with Friends of the Earth over GM crop concerns

With just one week to go until polling day in the European Elections, Chelmsford Liberal Democrats are in upbeat mood.

There is every chance that Chris White www.chriswhite.org.uk will join Andrew Duff as a Lib Dem MEP for this area. With support for Labour just melting away, people are looking for a sensible alternative to Michael Howard's Conservatives and the other extremists putting themselves forward.

Lib Dems across Chelmsford have been out and about talking to voters and delivering piles of leaflets.

Said Stephen Robinson, local Lib Dem Parliamentary Spokesman, "Everyone knows that elections in Chelmsford are usually a clear choice between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats. This is particularly so this year. Everyone should turn out to vote on Thursday 10th June."
